Gravity Falls girls

Mabel and her friends from Gravity Falls! 
Yeah, I'm not sure what's going on here...You know that scene when the whole town just loses gravity? What would happen if that happened, but Mabel and her friends were over?

Anyway, I'm proud of the colours and the subtle shadowing, and I think I captured a little bit of each of the girls' character well.

Ace

Cleaned up and inked one of the sketchdumps I did last week.

The girl in this is an idea I've had for a while in my head: 

Her name is Ace(Avian-Sapien-Experiment),and she's a genetically-bred angel girl, possibly created by some top-secret government program.

What's she like?

Why was she created?

Were there other experiments like her?

Sadly, these are questions I have yet to answer/come up with.

Sketchdumps

Here are some sketchdumps I've made all the way from last Friday. Some of them may be  difficult to see, so just tilt the computer screen backwards and you should see it just fine.

Most of these are just fun doodles, but I think that's the whole point of art, right? Anyway, I think Mabel and her friends were my fave to draw and I'm definitely gonna colour them.

Garnet and BB-8

Quick, cute, and nonsensical little comic featuring Garnet from Steven Universe and BB-8 from Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

I think I did alright with the colours on this one, but I feel like some anatomical parts are a bit... off.

I realize too late that I should have added shadows on the ground to make the characters feel like they're really there.
