I'm really sorry I haven't updated in a while, I've just started school and its really kicking my butt...I'll probably be updating biweekly from now on.

Anyway, I seem to be drawing a lot of Steven Universe characters, don't I?

The first one is Raven from Teen Titans, and the second was supposed to just be something original, but during its creation little parts were inspired by Lapis Lazuli from Steven Universe! So its sort of a Diamind version of her..? Diamond Lazuli?

Ruby the Red Fairy - childhood fanart

              When I was young, I was a big fan of something called the Rainbow Fairies, a children's book series written by British author Daisy Meadows. There were seven  books in the series, each one introducing a fairy representing a color of the rainbow. 

              The first book introduces the eponymous Ruby the Red Fairy, who is the subject of this week's drawing.

Did anyone else read this series growing up? If so, I hope this gives you a nostalgia boost :D

July sketches

Hey everybody, did you guys have a good weekend? Yep? Great!

Anyway, I apologize for not posting for a while. My computer had this virus that couldn't get removed, so I had to send it to Staples where it was cleaned, wiped of all files, and re-loaded with my all documents and photos over the course of five days.

But everything went well, none of my files were deleted or lost, and I can work on my computer without worries. So here's some awesome stuff for you guys!

Hermoine Granger, Luna Lovegood, and Ginny Weasley from the Harry Potter series. Also Lorde, because I had this weird thought that she kinda looks like Bellatrix's daughter(I imagine she ran away from home to new Zealand, assumed a Muggle identity, and pursued a music career)

Saw Finding Dory last weekend, and I just loved it. I tried to capture his expressiveness  in my drawings, and I think I did a semi-okay job.

Avengers/Ladybug

Sorry I'm late again, I've just had a lot going on; preparing for University this September, trying to get rid of this dumb virus on my laptop, and I couldn't use my laptop basically all weekend because I was travelling with my family. 

But I love to make art and I know you guys love it too, so here is what I hope is a funny comic ^

 After watching the Mystery Skulls -  Freaking Out animated music video a while ago, I drew the sketch thinking about the fact that Vivi has no idea what happened to Lewis, and all he wants is to get back to her...

I wondered what Moon would look like with long hair.

Legs practices

I tried to draw this certain pose as perfect as I could, and then I would repeat it several times, trying to get it done a little faster each time. 

This whole thing took me maybe 45 minutes, so the next time I make pose sketch like this one, I wanna aim for a faster time. Speed is the key to success as an artist, after all.

Afraid of Losing You - sketch

I watched Mystery Ben's new video a few days ago, and I listened to Freaking Out on repeat while making this. 

Lewis' (the skeleton guy) arm and hand freakijn killed me, and nearly tore my paper from so much 

erasing.

I made this because I really hope he and Vivi (the scarf girl) get together in the next video ;'(

Elf Girl #1

Hey, sorry I haven't been consistent with my posting. Been busy with work and this Pre-Nursing course I'm taking, and it's hard to make time for art in the adult world :(

But anyway, here's my coloured Elf Girl! 

Kind of had an idea that she is part of a short, dwarfish race of elves that spend most of their time crafting and mining, so they're always covered in dark dust and wear goggles and gloves(or whatever).

I promise I'm gonna get the next girl done next week.

Emily from Amulet

Some pose practice sketches with Emily Hayes from the graphic novel series, Amulet by Kazu Kibuishi.

I actually looked at some references for these, and most of these are based on Emily's staff from Book 2. These were super fun and I really hope she gets another cool weapon in the upcoming books.

Also, huge shoutout to Kazu Kibuishi for creating such an amazing series with amazing characters!
