I TOOK my power in my hand
And went against the world;
’T was not so much as David had,
But I was twice as bold. | |
I aimed my pebble, but myself | 5 |
Was all the one that fell.
Was it Goliath was too large,
Or only I too small? -Emily Dickinson Part One; Life #59 |
Character that grew up with nothing, slowly fought their way to power and thus had a desire to conquer the world. But in the end, everything they worked so hard for came crashing down in failure.
Kind of an emotional piece, hope you like it.
